Easy Upkeep for HVAC businesses

You service their systems.
Who’s servicing yours?

Vacuum pumps, recovery machines, generators and service vans all need their own upkeep. Easy Upkeep tracks the hours, mileage and dates, reminds your techs when something’s due, and keeps a record you can prove.

Invite-only field testing. Yearly plans from $99.

The irony

The maintenance experts are often the last to maintain their own gear.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: HVAC techs spend all day telling customers that skipping a service costs more in the long run. Then the vacuum pump oil goes months without a change, because nobody’s tracking it.

Dirty pump oil is like trying to breathe through a wet towel. The pump still runs, it just can’t pull a proper vacuum, and your evacuations take longer and finish worse. Multiply that across a crew and a fleet of vans, and small misses become callbacks.

What to track

Every tool with an engine, a pump or an odometer.

Service each asset by whatever it actually runs on, and let the countdowns tell you what’s next.

Vacuum pumps & recovery machines

Track oil changes and routine checks by hours or date, so every tech’s rig is ready to pull a deep vacuum.

Generators & compressors

Hour-based oil, filter and service intervals, with reminders before they’re due.

Service vans

Mileage-based servicing plus date-based checks like inspections and registration renewals.

How it works on the job

Set it up once.
Let the reminders do the chasing.

  • Add each van and its gear, named the way your crew names them.
  • Set intervals by hours, mileage or date, from the manufacturer’s guidance.
  • Assign each rig to the tech who runs it.
  • Techs get reminded, do the job, and sign it off with a photo and notes.

Your paper trail

When a unit fails, the records decide who pays.

A compressor or recovery machine dies under warranty. The first question is always the same: can you prove it was maintained?

With Easy Upkeep, every oil change and service is time-stamped against the machine, with photos and notes. You don’t argue. You show them.

Straight answers

Questions from HVAC businesses.

Is this for tracking customer systems?

No. Easy Upkeep is for your gear: the pumps, machines, generators and vans your business runs on.

Does it read machine hours automatically?

Not yet, and I’d rather tell you that upfront. Your team gets a reminder and enters the reading from the machine. It takes about ten seconds.

Does it replace the service manual?

In short: no. The manufacturer sets the intervals. Easy Upkeep makes sure you actually hit them, and proves you did.

Can each tech see only their own gear?

Yes. Technicians see what’s assigned to them. Owners and admins see the whole business.

Know. Don’t guess.
